Crowds of people kept pouring into Llanigon Village Hall from 8.30 till noon for the Lally's Macmillan Coffee Morning drawn partly by the luring smell of bacon butties. The hard work of organisers and generosity of the crowds raised well over £3,000 for cancer care, which made front page of The Brecon and Radnor Express. I was invited to run a stall selling the paper bead jewellery for 'our' Ugandan schoolchildren.
